  1. well try spreading the word of paintball and try to make it seem like the amazing sport it is don’t start with a team start by playing with peeps in Ur school become a friendly person then when you have people playing then u can start a club or team whatever then possibly ask your principal about possibly sponsoring this amazing sport for any information you may need or want feel free to take a look in the paintball community at http://www.TechPB.com its the best place you can go for anything to do with paintball i hope ive helped you

  2. If you mean a paintball club from the school then good luck. I’ve tried the same thing and it’s a hard deal to push.
Your going to have to convince the teachers and it’s going to take alot of convincing. Try to find a younger guy teacher that will help you. Get him interested if you can. It also wouldn’t hurt to google highschool paintball team/club. They are out there see if you can contact them for advice on how they went about doing it.
When selling the idea to the school NEVER say gun. Seriously that quick you will shoot yourself in the foot. Marker marker marker. If they say gun correct them. It’s a marking device. Legally speaking it’s also been decided it’s a marking device not a gun. Find out if the school is willing to help fund it partially or if you will just gather dues. Suggest you want to use the schools name, try to stir up school pride.
Tell them how safe it is. Go over the rules with them, show that they are enforced and the refs are trained. Cheating and unsafe practices are punished.
Make a folio outlining how you want to go about it. Be professional and well planned. You need to impress them and chances are they won’t want to hear it. That’s why you need a teacher or two on your side willing to endorse it.
Get a roster. Who wants to be on the team. Try to get some of the well known faces in school on it. Have backups in case of illness. Make sure if the people want to be on it that are serious. No backing out it can ruin everything.

Like I said I’ve researched it and got help from other schools and was still shot down.

Another thing that might help is find a list of colleges that have pro teams. Many upper class colleges have fully funded pro teams and some play in all the major tournaments. Last I checked Duke University had one. Let them see it is a huge thing and widely accepted by big name schools.

Any other questions feel free to contact me by email. I would be happy to see another school start a team. Btw don’t suggest the school foot the whole bill. Paintball is one of the more expensive sports out there and that won’t make them happy.
